John Lavin, age 92, of Brooklyn passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Mr. Lavin was born August 13, 1921 in Ireland . He is the son of the late John O. Lavin and the late Winifred (Dowd) Lavin. Mechanic for Brooklyn Union Gas Company. Beloved husband to Mary of almost 60 years. Loving father of Teresa, John and Mary. Cherished grandfather of seven.
