Garry started off (and continued) as my accountant and then became my friend. He was the most thorough and punctual professional I have ever encountered. He always returned a call or an email immediately and did a great job for me.
We evolved into friends after several years of me being his client and I looked forward (yes looked forward) to tax season because I knew I would be in good hands with Garry. I loved talking with him about the Mets, obscure football leagues, and the Mob Wives (yes, he watched that show!!). Garry, my friend, I am truly saddened to hear of your sudden passing.
Respectfully,
Joshua Stevens

Garry was a man of integrity, every day of his life. He was always more mature, more "grown-up" than the rest of us at Msgr. Farrell. He definitely helped me a few times when I wasn't thinking straight.
He will certainly be missed by all that knew him.

I am saddened to hear of Garry's passing. As a fellow St. Chris and Grant City guy, I can tell you he was one of the best. He knew his sports. Joe Buck had nothing on Garry. Come back as a sportscaster Mon Ami. I offer you my deepest condolences. gjf.

We had the special pleasure of getting to know Garry recently as he joined with the Alumni to support his home town school St. Christopher School in Grant City at last years school reunion. It is with much sorrow loosing such a good soul so young and full of life. We pray that he and his wife are now together once again.
.
God Bless Garry and the Tart family.

Garry, I will miss your sense of humor and impersonations. I enjoyed our conversations about politics and sports. I never held it against you that you were a Mets fan ! You are now in heaven with so many other loved ones, especially your "goddess". Until we meet again, rest in peace.
Love, Lucky
