Obituary of Edward P. Haddican
Edward P. Haddican passed away on March 19, 2015, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Thomas and Bessie. He is the beloved Husband of Mary (nee Lynch). Edward is the dear father of Edward, Michael, Bernard, Kathleen Nuszer, and Mary Agnes Gorman. Edward is also the devoted Father-in-law of Sue, Kathy, Tracy, Gary Nuszer, and Tom Gorman. He is the cherished grandfather of Edward, Devin, Erin Rose, Kerrie, Jessie, Michael, Christina, Thomas, Briana, Michelle, Ava Rose, and Christopher. He was predeceased by his siblings James, Thomas, The Reverend Bernard, Patrick, and Kathleen Campell.
Edward's family remembers him as being very social. He loved being around people, which was evident throughout his career as an NYPD Lieutenant with the Emergency Service Unit. Edward also loved his country, as he served in the Navy as a Korean Wartime veteran. Edward was very proud of his Irish heritage and always enjoyed listening to Irish music.
