Obituary of Laura DeMayo

Laura DeMayo, age 92, of Brooklyn passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at NY Community Hospital of Brooklyn. Ms. DeMayo was born August 1, 1923. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Josephine (Spasiano) DeMayo. Laura devoted forty-three years as a teacher for the NYC Board of Education. Loving sister, Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, November 9 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY. Entombment to follow at St. John's Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY. Visiting hours will be Sunday, November 8 from 3:30 - 7:30 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
