Frank was more than a neighbor to us, he was our friend. It's rare in today's world where you can have good friends as your neighbors instead of someone that you simply say hi and bye to.
I always enjoyed talking to him about life and about sports, especially golf, as he knew I loved to play. We will miss you dearly Frank. Rest in peace my friend.

Frank was a good nieghbor and great friend, he is part of my family. He was a fixture at all our paties regardless of how late they ran. We have enjoyed many laughs and good stories with him. He was like an uncle to my kids whom referred to him as Unlce Frank. He was the mayor of East 37 St not only due to his life spent on the block but his knowledge and stories of the years passed. He would always stop by the porch to have a beer and fill you in on the neighborhood current events and share a story with us. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

a great light went out on 37th Street on Friday morning and 37th Street will never be the same without you on the block. I am so happy to have been able to spend most of my life on the block with such a wonderful neighbor. You truly will be missed. Love you. Mary Theresa!!
