My deepest condolences to the family of Billy Walsh. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Billy back in the old Transit Police and also in the NYPD Youth Division. He was always fun to work with.We had a lot good times together, always sharing those Transit stories. His from Brooklyn, mine from The Bronx. He was always great working with the young people back then, and I'm sure he left a positive impact on a lot of those young lives.Take care of that school condition up there Billy, till we see each other again one day, my brother... May the the Lord bless and comfort your family during this sad time....

I am so very sorry for your loss. When you loose someone special, no one else can really know all that you feel. Bill will be remembered by his friends in Richmond, as full of life, he loved to cook and tell stories that kept our group of friends delighted. He and my husband Claude often commiserated about being the only New Yorker's within miles. Please know that many caring thoughts are with you and your family during this time of sorrow.
Most sincerely,
Jene and Claude Shipman

My deepest condolences on Billy's passing. I have very fond memories of our childhood playing endless games of manhunt and many other games that kept us all out of trouble and passed the time without video games and cell phones. It was a long time ago but seems like yesterday. You will be in my prayers.

Condolences to every family members and friends of the Late William T. "Billy" Walsh. I am sadden to learn of the transition of such a beloved person. Like many others, I had worked with "Billy," and I watched him in action during his tours at NYCTPD/ NYPD Transit Bureau D-34. He had been a natural leader, an Officer, a true gentleman, and a man of principle. I will remember his smiling face, and the way he approached a given task, it's a good example to follow. Long live the legacy of Retired PO Walsh. May his RIP.
