Obituary of Daniel G. Guiney

Daniel G. Guiney died on March 19, 2016. The dear son of the late John & Julia he was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 2, 1933. Daniel served his Country with the United States Army and upon his return served the City with the NYPD. Through his dedicated service of Courtesy, Professionalism and Respect Daniel rose the ranks proudly retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. He is survived by his loving wife Nora, children Daniel J. (Robin), Jean (Mike), Dennis P. (Melissa), Brian, Joseph M. (Juliana). Dear grandfather of Christa, Danny, James, Lauren, Max, Zack, Emma, Megan and Jack. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday March 24, 2016 at The Marine Park Funeral Home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM. The memorial visitation will be the only public service that will take place. Committal services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
