Obituary of Esther S. Einbinder

Tomorrow we gather together to honor the memory of the matriarch of this group, Esther Einbinder, often called Tessie by the family. She was a force to be reckoned with, a social being, opinionated, independent soul, a loving and demanding wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, old school in some ways and a model for women’s independence – one who paved a path and fought against roadblocks, ahead of her time but also bound by her past and the legacy of former generations. We will miss her cheek sucking kisses, her meatballs, her orange chicken, homemade gefilte fish, her famous sayings (That’s all), the way she permitted us to fluster and confuse her. We certainly laughed a lot and cried a lot. Your memory will be a blessing to us all. Esther passed away on May 10, 2016 in Phoenix Arizona. Esther will have a Graveside Service on Friday May 13, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Floral Park Cemetery in New Jersey.
