IRWIN – Patrick J. entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2016. Valiantly served our country with the US Navy. Retired FDNY; Engine 242. After retirement Patrick went back to school, moving to his next phase in life as a RN at St. Vincent's Hospital. Beloved husband of 46 years to Margaret. Loving father of Christine Karamanoglou (George) and Corinne Irwin. Cherished grandfather of Liam. Dear brother of Michael J. Irwin, Mary Bennis and Helen Sinnott. Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral on Wednesday 9:00 AM from the MARINE PARK FUNERAL HOME 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn. www.marineparkfh.com. Funeral Mass Good Shepherd R.C.
