Our sincere condolences to Veronica and Ann and family in the passing of your Loving Mom and wonderful Aunt...I will never forget the great times both at your house and ours in Deer Park..In recent years during my visit or overnight stays I especially enjoyed that stuffed pizza Aunt Lou perfected and watching Aunt Lou and Uncle Jim shout out answers to Jeopardy before I could open my mouth!...Fun memories..Aunt Lou,you will be sorely missed!...

Reaching Out to the O'Brien Sisters in their Time of Grief
My heart is reaching out to you, For what you’re going through;
I’m thinking of you frequently, And praying for you, too.
If there’s something I can do, Anything at all,
Think of me thinking of you, And don’t hesitate to call.

My Aunt Lu, Lu.....I know she didn't like being called that but that's how we knew her. She was a wonderful woman, both so strong and yet so giving. When her sister, Tina which was my mother, was so sick in a nursing home, she would travel from Flatbush, via LIRR out to Long Island to visit her countless times. She was always wonderful to her and I will never forget that. Love you, Aunt Lu.

Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences Veronica. I will keep you in my prayers as well as your family.
I'm so glad you were able to make it there in time. May the Lord of Peace fill your heart with comfort as you lay your mom to rest in a few days.
May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Louise O'Brien was a loving hospitable supremely talented cook and general sweetheart, (as long as you were on her good side.) As she slowed down physically, she also mellowed and liked nothing better than retelling, or even better rehearing old funny stories. And nothing compared to her Veronica or her Ann, the best daughters ever.
While never really fussy, she was never without a little lipstick and a great hair style. Her smile lit up the room. Between her beautiful daughter's and Noreen's caring for her, she remained a beauty til the end. I will miss this wonderful lady, may she rest in peace.
