Obituary of Richard A. Gauser
Richard A. Gauser "Dickie Boy" died February 7, 2017 in Brooklyn, NY. He was 82.
The son of the late Anthony & Bessie, he was born June 21, 1934 in Brooklyn.
Organizations such as the Special Olympics & The Parkville Youth Baseball Organization would not exist if it was not for the devoted spirit of men like Richard. Not only did he teach, guide and train youths, he thoroughly enjoyed it. An avid reader, passionate about Roman & Greek History, his knowledge only added to the Metropolitans Exhibit "The Met" as a longtime Curator. His pronounced love for the Brooklyn Dodgers sustained the NY Mets in later years and the NY Rangers gained a winning guardian angel yesterday.
Dickie Boy was a devoted husband of 57 years to his wife Nancy. There would be no "Dickie Boy" if Richard did not have his one and only son Scott.
Reposing Monday from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9:00PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:30AM St. Mark R.C. Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
