Assunta DeTorfino, "Susie" age 91, of Brooklyn passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Mrs. DeTorfino was born May 10, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Pasquale and the late Jennie Mauro. Beloved wife of the late Dominick DeTorfino. Loving mother of Nicholina Montebianco (John), Cecilia Manning, Jeanette Zadvydas and Nicholas DeTorfino (Toni). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Dominick, Kimberly, Christine, John, Joseph, Thomas, Nicholas and Anthony. Dear great grandmother of James and Niko.

Reposing Sunday, October 15 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00 am on Monday, October 16 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, Queens.
