Obituary of George E. Kelly

George E. Kelly passed away on November 3, 2017 at 82 years old. George was the beloved husband of Mary Jane (nee Mangan-Waters) Kelly. He was the loving father of George (Colleen), James P. (Regina), and Daniel J. Kelly. He was the dear brother of William Kelly and Rosemary McSweeney. George was the cherished grandfather of Connor, Kevin, and James.

George was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After his time in the service, George transitioned into a career with the FDNY, retiring as a Captain.

The visitation for George will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Sunday November 5, 2017 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Monday November 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM – the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 9:00 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island.
