Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;

Can never find the most meaningful words to express how much respect I had for Kevin. His family, his friends, and his community have suffered a void since the day he left us.

Everyone you meet in life can leave a lasting impression on you, one way or another. To this day I remember a story told to me about Kevin, Jeannette and Kristine in a Burger King and when the cashier told him to Have a nice day, Kevin’s response was, “Don’t tell me what to do.”
I laughed so hard I cried. I still laugh.
The fact that I still remember this 15 or so years later, hopefully it’s fairly accurate, says a lot about the guy. I really liked Kevin a lot. Rest In Peace.

Isaiah 26:19
“Your dead will live.
My corpses will rise up.
Awake and shout joyfully,
You residents in the dust!
For your dew is as the dew of the morning,
And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.

Many words will be spoken attesting to the beautiful soul my father-in-law was over the next few weeks. Yet he himself was a man of few words. A man whose actions spoke volumes about his gentle nature and kind heart. For example, he may not have preferred Ginger Ale, but he always kept it in the house because he knew I loved it. This is who he was, the example he set for his children, and the type of man I pray that my boys will grow up to emulate. I hope he knew that I loved him dearly and that he brought more sweetness to my life than any drink ever possibly could. Rest In Peace big Kev and keep us all in your loving arms from up above ❤️
