Obituary of Margaret Watt
Margaret Watt passed away on December 18, 2017 at 92 years old. Margaret was the daughter of the late Katherine (nee Hickey) and James Butler. Margaret is welcomed into Heaven by her loving husband the late Edward Watt (retired NYPD) who shared 53 years of marriage.
Margaret was the beloved mother of Catherine Peterson, Patricia (James) Harrington, Margaret (Michael) Silano, Edward F. (Lori) Watt III, William Watt, Anne (Hugh) McLean, the late Theresa (William) Sankey, Joan (Richard) Garone.
She was the cherished grandmother of James (Joanie) Harrington, Daniel (Deanna) Harrington, John Peterson, MaryEllen (Matthew) Holbert. Anne (Chris) Pericone. Christopher (Elizabeth) Peterson, James (Samantha) McLean, Kathleen (Chris) Cenci, Erica (Shaun) Maxwell, Marianne (Anthony) Paganini, Michael (Kate) Silano, Lisa (Kevin) Perry, Catherine (Dario) Abreu, Jessica Sankey, Daniel (Chrissy) Garone, William (Julia) Sankey, Daniel Silano, Edward Sankey, Caitlin McLean, Kathleen Watt, Edward Watt, Edward Watt, Michael Garone, James Watt (USMC), Anne McLean, William Garone, John Watt, and Erin Garone – she was the loved great grandmother of 22.
Margaret was the dear sister of the late Maureen Fitzgerald, Kathleen Egert, the late Helen Butler, the late Teresa Butler, Grace Butler, the late Pierce Butler, Elizabeth Harrington, Patricia Cole, the late Edward Butler, and Joan Butler.
The visitation for Margaret will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Wednesday December 20, 2017 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and Thursday December 21, 2017 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church on Friday December 22, 2017 - the time is still to be decided. The Committal Service will be immediately following the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church.
