I was Billy's number one wide receiver. Billy was slamming Elway crosses into my chest long before John Elway played QB. He also broke my right pinky with one of his throws. Boy, he could throw a baseball and a football. Plus shoot a basketball, almost as good as Danny Kane. I last saw him when we went to a Knicks basketball game when Jabbar was with the Bucks, late 60's. We hung out a lot. I have a lot of Billy Van stories, none of which you will read here.
