We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom and grandma. She was such a fixture on the block and always had a nice thing to say to all of us. We loved giving her tomatoes in the summer time. She will be missed. But she will always be in your hearts.

I must have come to this page at least two dozen times-but I couldn't find the words.
How do you find the words to express someone's passing when you just don't want it to be true?
How is the world going to carry on losing such a beautiful, loving soul?
Eileen was my friend. My friendship with her--a blessing. But through the years, I was also fortunate to witness the love and care she offered to so many others.
Some days, I'd sit there and think, "she HAS to have a giant filing cabinet system somewhere to remember the details of everyone's life."
I mean, in passing, you could tell Eileen that your second cousin, once removed, on your stepfather's side needed stitches on the third toe of his left foot--and two days later, Eileen would be checking-in... "how is your second cousin, once removed, on your stepfather's side third toe doing?" " I sent off a get well card this morning- so keep a look-out."
I've never seen anything like it. Never so much genuine care and love. Not only did she make people feel special and listened to- but everyone who crossed her path felt like they mattered.
Feeling like you matter- is not always a given in life. And boy did Eileen have a gift for making everyone feel that way.
I'm deepy saddened by her passing. I'm heartbroken for her family. But, I will be forever grateful that my life's path crossed hers.
My prayers, sympathy, and love are with you all. I hope you'll be comforted by treasured memories.
May you rest in the arms of angels-my dear friend, Eileen.

I never had the honor or pleasure of meeting Ms. Eileen, but knowing her daughter Mary, Anthony and Laura and Jessica, if they are any reflection of Ms. Eileen she was a wonderful women. In life we do our very best to be a good caring person, and from social media I saw on a daily basis how much Eileen loved her family, and friends. May this saint Rest in Eternal Peace.

Where do I begin to to explain what Eileen meant to me. She always was kind, considerate, passionate and most importantly loving. I remember all the wonderful times we as a family had together. Growing up in Brooklyn and living so close we saw Tom & Eileen a lot and soon there were more to love with each child. Life was not easy but Eileen always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. To her children & grandchildre I say you were taught and loved by the best she will always be with you. To Peggy I am sorry for the loss of you sister in law but also your best friend. Distance makes being there with you all impossible but know I am there in spirit. Love you all

Dear family of Eileen,
My husband and I are so sorry for your loss. It is my loss also.Eileen was a dear friend of mine and we enjoyed years of Words with Friends and almost daily chats. I will miss her greatly. She was a very special lady and will always have a place in my heart. I am so grateful we were able to visit her and meet in person. I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
