Dear Junior, Giacomo and Giulia,
I send you my deepest condolences for the loss of Stefania. I first met Stefania at Brooklyn College and we were student teachers together at BNS. I loved her spirit, all of her stories, her love of her family, her passion for teaching, her strength and her sense of humor. I am heartbroken that I have not spoken to her in far too long. She was a beautiful person inside and out and I will miss her very much.

My condolences to her entire family. I had the privilege to work with Stefania. She was a remarkable woman who devoted her time to educating our children. She loved all of her students, you can see it on her face, her eyes. The why should looked at her students... well you can see that each and everyone one of them were truly loved by her. My son Liron was in Stefania's 2nd grade class. He loved being in her classroom. She was so incredible sweet and warm to my son and for that I will be eternally grateful to her. Teachering was not just a job for stefania, it was her passion and the work she did with her students was seen through work and effort. If it was their island story or their bridge project. Stefania was adored and loved by everyone she touched. She will be missed tremendously. I hope that I bring you some comfort and telling you all what an incredible human being, friend, mentor Stefania was to each and every one of us.

I worked with Stefania at Brooklyn New School. I taught first grade, and thus, sent many of my students to her the following September. I would periodically visit her classroom and see her students to check in on them. The work Stefania had them produce was amazing. Her classroom was beautiful. And, she, was always smiling and cheerful. She knew her students well, and would amazingly articulate her observations. BNS is fortunate to have had such a lovely, gifted teacher, even if only for a short time. Her smile remains in my memory. That's how I will always see Stefania.

My deepest condolences. My son, Benicio, had Stefania as his 2nd grade teacher. She always had a smile on her face and was warm and kind to the kids. Anyone could see that she truly loved her job and liked each and every student. She saw their worth and built them up. Benicio was lucky to have had Stefania in his life.
