Rose M. Walter, age 88, of Brooklyn passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018. Mrs. Walter was born January 9, 1930 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Edward and the late Catherine A. (Tunney) Gerretsen. Beloved wife of the late William P. Walter. Loving mother of William Walter (Ann), Edward Walter, John Walter (Helen) and Patricia Martin. Cherished grandmother of Maryanne (Ray), Christopher (Carmen), Jennifer, Jonathan, Sophia, Kaylee, William, Sean, Bridget, John and Margaret. Dear great grandmother of Anastasia.

Reposing Monday, May 14 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Tuesday, May 15 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY. Burial to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York
