Obituary of Joseph T. Manzo

Joseph T. Manzo, Jr.  died Tuesday August 14, 2018 at home.  He was 89.  Son of the late Joseph Sr. and Josephine, he was born August 15, 1928  in Brooklyn, NY.  

Joseph served our Country with the US Army.  Upon returning home he joined the NYPD; retiring from the Emergency Service Unit, with Truck # 1.  Mr. Manzo then spent many years with the White Rose, Corp. with which he also retired.  

Devoted husband of the late Frances.  Beloved father of Donna McColgan, father in law of Terry O'Shaughnessy and Baby Ann (Dorothy) Manzo.  Dear grandfather of Julianne; Nicole; MaryJo; Robert and Joseph.  An uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Mr. Manzo was predeceased in life by his son Joseph Manzo and daughter Karen O'Shaughnessy.    In lieu of flowers Donna requested donations be made in her father's name to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.  

MARINE PARK FUNERAL HOME Thursday 7 to 9:00 PM and Friday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM.  Funeral Mass Saturday 9:45 AM Good Shepherd R.C. Church.  Interment to Follow in the Family Plot St. Charles Cemetery.
