Obituary of Phyllis Molaro

Phyllis Molaro, age 90, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 19, 2018. Mrs. Molaro was born May 21, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Lucy (Masiello) Garofalo. Phyllis enjoyed spending her free time tango dancing with her husband and taking a ride to Atlantic City to play the slot machines. Most important to Phyllis was her family, she loved her family more than anything and her grandchildren were her world.

Beloved wife of 63 years to Ralph A. Molaro. Loving mother of Andrea Franz (Robert), Barbara LaVardera (Dion) and Lucille Frangella (Tom). Cherished grandmother of Dana Franz, Jeremy Franz, Kristina LaVerdera. Dear sister of the late Frances Barbaccia and the late Leo Garofalo. Treasured Aunt of many.

Reposing Wednesday, August 22 from 2 to 5 and 7to 9 PM and Thursday, August 23 from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, August 24 at Resurrection R.C. Church, 2331 Gerritsen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
