Hello. Sorry for your loss. I’m curious to know if she was a teacher at St Finbar?

I woke up this morning thinking of my beautiful Aunt Ann. She was ALWAYS one of my favorites of my mother's sisters. How I loved her laugh and her jovial loving personality. I loved how she talked and told stories about her and Uncle Joe and about how he always called her "Blondie"! I just loved her quick wit and her New York accent! She was a very talented at sewing ....making lots of clothes for my cousins, Janet, Diane and Christine....and when I stayed there on some summer vacations growing up, she was always so hospitable and loving to me. I as her niece have always felt her love for me, no matter near or far. I picture her in my mind right now with that gorgeous smile and short red sassy haircut. Aunt Antoinette, I love you so much. Uncle Joe is waiting for you now. Go and rest in peace. LOVE ALWAYS, your niece, Donna Rubino-Smith

I will miss Aunt Ann. Around me she was always happy and cheerful, and always smiled and laughed with such little effort that she instantly elevated every visit and phone call to a joyous occasion.
She sent me birthday cards when I was a child, wrote and spoke to me by phone when I was in college and came to our wedding reception in New York.
Not only was she a fast and quick-witted thinker, she was a gifted conversationalist who exhibited fondess. She and Uncle Joe never hesitated to tell they loved me but they didn't have to because I knew it.
While news of her passing is hard for those of us still living, I hope her parents, siblings and husband greeted her on the other side with open arms and a long-overdue welcome home party which I anxiously hope someday in eternity to watch the rerun.

I have many wonderful thoughts and reflections of Aunt Antoinette but the one that stands out the most is how happy she was. I honestly do not remember ever seeing her without a smile on her face. My day brightened when I was in her presence. She taught me that each day of life is to be enjoyed and cherished. I have tried to apply these lessons to my own life (with great difficulty). She made it look easy. I will miss her very much but am forever thankful to have lasting memories of her that will live on in my heart. - Grandnephew Jim Mallinson
