It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of
Steven Pollard
1988 – 2019
Beloved Son of Raymond G. Pollard and Janet T. (Fadelici) Pollard. Loving Brother of Raymond G. Pollard Jr. and his wife, Nicole. Adored Uncle of Raymond III and Lyla. Cherished Love of Brianna Torkel. Beloved Nephew of Peggy Fadelici, Robert Fadelici, Billy and Mary Beth Fadelici and Donald Pollard.
Dedicated firefighter of FDNY Ladder Co. 170.
When I'm called to duty god
wherever flames may rage
give me strength to save a life
whatever be its age
Help me to embrace a little child
before it is too late
or save an older person from
the horror of that fate
Enable me to be alert
to hear the weakest shout
and quickly and efficiently
to put the fire out
I want to fill my calling and
to give the best in me
to guard my neighbor and
protect his property
And if according to your will
I have to lose my life
bless with your protecting hand my family.
Reposing Wednesday, January 9 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Thursday, January 10 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York.
Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 AM on Friday, January 11 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.
Committal service to follow at the Green-Wood Crematory Chapel inside Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
