Obituary of Frances M Zujkowski
Frances (Fran) Zujkowski, age 69, a native of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 3rd, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on December 2, 1949 to the late Consiglia (Connie) and Emanuel Raffaele. Fran is survived by her husband and best friend of 45 years, Edward P. Zujkowski, her aunt, Regina (Jeanie) Montanino, her sons, Joseph V. Zujkowski and his wife Samantha Sims of Brooklyn, NY, and Michael J. Zujkowski and his soon-to-be wife, Stephanie Kangas, of New Haven, CT, and her two beloved granddaughters Zoe and Tess.
She graduated from Stony Brook University in 1971 and went on to attend Brooklyn Law School, graduating in 1978. For over 40 years as a real estate attorney at Koerner, Silberberg, & Weiner LLP and then at White & Williams LLP, Fran served her clients with integrity and dedication.
Fran lived for her family and friends to whom she showered with love, support, and laughter. Her circle of friends extended far and wide as she built new and enduring friendships at every stage of her life. Each member of that circle can attest to the impact she had on their lives and her place in their hearts. She was recognized by everyone who knew her as a dynamic, caring, loyal, funny, and smart woman. She leaves the world a better place having been here.
Visiting hours will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Thursday, April 4 th (from 6 to 9pm), and Friday, April 5 th (from 2 to 5pm and 6 to 8pm). A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Bernard Clairvaux Church (2055 East 69 th street) on Saturday, April 6th at 10 a.m., with a burial service to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery.
