Obituary of Michael Patrick Hughes
Michael Patrick Hughes a resident of Brooklyn NY passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at home in Brooklyn. Michael was 63 years old. Michael was born March 21, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late James J. and the late Kathleen (Kenney) Hughes. He was employed by City Of New York as a Road Maintenance Forman with the Department of Traffic. Michael is survived by his loving siblings John T. (Lillian) Hughes, Kathy Hughes and Coleen Mainieri; his beloved nieces and nephews Thomas, Kacie, Kimberly (Paul) and Kelly Ann (Nicholas) and his cherished great nieces and nephews Ava Marie, Alyssa, Nicholas, Paul Joseph and Julianna. Michael is also predeceased by his brother James P Hughes who passed away in 2014 and his brother in law Guy Mainieri who passed away in 2009.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY. Cremation will be in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
