Obituary of Alice Claire Sorrelli

Alice Claire Sorrelli a lifelong resident of Brooklyn passed away on Thursday September 12, 2019 at the age of 80.Alice Claire was born August 10, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. Alice Claire is the daughter of the late David and the late Elizabeth (McEwan) Edgar.  Alice Claire married the love of her life Joseph A. Sorrelli. They have been married 58 years. Alice Claire was employed as a medical assistant in a private practice. Alice Claire is survived by her loving husband Joseph A. Sorrelli; her beloved children Joseph (Kristina) Sorrelli, Allison Sorrelli and Jill (Thomas) Spinard; her cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Thomas, Alexander, Andrew and Martin; and her adoring siblings John (Joanne) Edgar, June (Paul) Vieira, Douglas (Marie) Edgar and Gail McKinney. Alice Claire is predeceased by her cherished brothers Kenneth and David Edgar and her cherished brother in law William McKinney.  

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Visitation will be Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.
