Obituary of Joan Virginia Kelly

Joan Virginia Kelly, age 80, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 23, 2019. Mrs. Kelly was born December 27, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Katherine (Probst) Lee. Beloved wife of the late George Kelly. Loving mother of Andrew Kelly and his wife, Megan. Cherished grandmother of Shannon, Jane and Mackenzie. Treasured aunt of Jack and Jimmy Daley. Dear sister of Evelyn McLoughlin, the late Maryann Daley and the late Catherine Dudgeon.

Joan will forever be remembered and is always is our hearts.

Reposing Wednesday, September 25 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Thursday, September 26 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to immediately follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
