Jean Holfester, age 80, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2019. Jean Holfester was born April 4, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Marion (LiAntonio) Gabriel. Devoted Wife to Harry Holfester. Cherished Mother to James Rubel (Beth), Christine Catarcio and Carol Scotti (Albert). Beloved Sister to the late Rosemarie Flannery (the late Thomas) and the late John Gabriel. Adored Grandmother to Brittany (John), Christopher, Joseph, Kimberly and James.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Repsoing Friday December 13, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, New York 11234. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM  on Saturday December 14, 2019 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 2609 East 19th Street Brooklyn, NY 11235.

Committal service will immediately follow to Canarsie Cemetery, 1370 Remsen Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11236
