Daddy,
There are not enough words to express how much I love and miss you. From the time I was a little girl we always had a special bond that no one could break. I remember when you would put me on your shoulders and sing to me in front of the living room mirror. Or when we would go to breakfast together on a Sunday at Benny’s on the corner of our block. These are just some of the moments together that I will always treasure. As I got older the moments changed but they still were so special. We would dance to your favorite song Gloria at a party; you would share a funny story and everyone in the room would want to listen; I would watch your grandchildren crowd around you because you were “so cool”, you would get me through the tough times in my life and tell me a hundred years from now you will never know what happened; or we would just talk and I would tell you I love you daddy and you would always say I love you too babe. Dad, you will always have a special place in my heart.
These past 3 months have been hard but I am happy that I was able to be with you every step of the way. I remember a Sunday a few months back when Tony went to sit with you to watch the Jets game and I made the 2 of you some appetizers, the smile on your face made my day. And how we laugh the night we played cards at the kitchen table and I looked at you and mom and saw how happy you both were enjoying that time together. The simple things in life meant the world to you. I am so happy you had these moments.
Dad I hope that you are proud of me because I am truly honored to be your daughter and blessed to have you as a father. So all that is left to say daddy is be cool and don’t be no fool. We will take care of mom for you. And I know that I am your favorite but I won’t tell John and Sal.
Love always and forever,
Stephanie

Daddy
There is so much I still had to say you and talk with you about. I’m going to miss just picking up the telephone and calling you and mom and talking to you whether it was for just 5 minutes or 35 minutes we would talk about silly things.
You never had a harsh word for anyone, I miss you so much and will miss you forever.
Me and Sharon can still see you sitting in the kitchen playing solitaire and drinking a cup of coffee. We love you so much daddy.
I haven’t stopped crying and don’t think I ever will until one day when I see you again.
I just want to hold your hand and tell you how much I love you.
You are our guardian angel and you will always burn bright in our hearts.
I love you daddy John

John was like a father to me as I have known him almost all of my life. He used to take me and Sal to the movies and we would all go to lake george in the summers and an amazing trip to New Orleans. He would always put me to the test and would never beat around the bush. He had that 100 mile smile and the greatest laugh. I am truly beside myself at this loss. I love you John and you will always have a special place in my heart.

My godfather John would always pick me up to go to his house so I can play with my cousin Stephanie. He always had a kind word he always has a smile on his face he always had some little quirky little saying and he had this energetic dancing routine to “Gloria”. I’ll never forget him.

To the best man I’ve had the pleasure of calling my grandfather.
Every single person who’s met you just said you had a spark about you. A man with a true heart of gold. Not a single soul will forget you and now we have one more person watching one for all of us.
I’ll love you for a life time grandpa

Dear Uncle John,
Especially when you and my dad were together they were great times. I am so very much going to miss you at the family functions. I am so grateful to Aunt Gerry getting you on the phone when she called me so we could talk. I love you Uncle John may you sleep in peace.

You were a man’s man John. Tough as nails, movie idol looks and a heart as big as the Earth. I will always be truly thankful for the help you gave me in securing work during high school that helped me pay for college. I cherish those days for the time you and I and your son John worked together at the catering halls. Your sense of humor made long days bearable. Rest In Peace John. Thank you for your service to this country and a life lived well. God Bless
