Obituary of Barbara Jean Borruso

Barbara Jean Borruso, age 74, Brooklyn, New York entered into eternal rest
Friday, March 27, 2020.
Barbara (Known as Mrs. B or Momma B to many) was born July 3, 1945 in the
Kensington section of Brooklyn.
She is the Daughter of the late Walter and the late Helen, Beloved wife of the late Gregory Borruso, Mother to Anthony (Antoinette), Gregory (Kristen), Katrina (Matthew) Casey, Sister to Adele (The late Joseph) Licata, and Thaddeus (Geraldine) Ryzner, and aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. 

A lifelong resident of Brooklyn, she spent the last 44 years as a resident of Marine Park and was known to many for her hearty laugh, her generous nature, and her amazing cooking.  
An event was not complete until one of Mama B’s cheesecakes was had for dessert.  
A quiet woman who always put her family first and loved to feed the many friends and co-workers of her children.  She loved gardening, cooking for people, flea markets, animals, science fiction movies, and spending time
with her family.  
She will be missed by all those that knew her.

Due to the current state of affairs
there will not be a wake.  
Upon such time as it is safe to congregate the family will schedule a memorial service
in her honor.
