Charlie was an early mentor who after 40 years in the business I fondly remember and those early years at Allstate bring a smile to my face. It was my privilege to say that I did his fieldwork while a young adjuster at Allstate. That became my foundation for life.

It’s been 13 years since I worked at Allstate. Many fond memories came from my 20 years working there. I count
Charlie’s presence as one of the brighter lights that illuminated that time in my life. Thanks Charlie; rest
peacefully.

My condolences to the Ricciardi family. I remember seeing your Mom running around all the time. My Mom was friends of hers since we lived on avenue L. I remember your whole family fondly. Our family had the puppies so many times. I don’t think you had one but alot the neighborhood had one. My backyard backed to your house. My condolences to your family and it sounds like Charlie had a blessed and long life. Pleas offer my condolences to your Mom.

Of course I remember you & your family. Fond memories of a simpler time. Am still in neighborhood around block from folks. We never had pets except for a fish or turtle which never stayed long for some reason. Dad always said he had 7 kids & that was enough for him! Thank you for your kind thoughts. God bless...Barbara

I was Charles hospice nurse and in the time spent knowing him and his life made me wish I knew him longer. The smile he had would make you just want to sit with him and experience life through his eyes. He will be missed.

Charlie was a true Christian gentleman and I treasure the great gift he was to the Church of Brooklyn, especially Our Lady Help of Christians. May Charlie rest in the eternal peace he truly deserves.

The memories are filled with caring, sharing, fun and love -- so many happy times together with my Ricciardi cousins. I especially remember just a couple of summers ago, an afternoon with lots of laughs about the Mets...lots of good food...and lots of family stories recounted by Charlie and Millie and Aunt Evie and Sophie.
We wish we could wipe away the grief that now burdens you all. But in your mourning know that the rest of the family, as well as your friends and your community, encircle you with love and prayers.
Rest in peace, Charlie. I know you'll keep watch over your dear family and help lift the burdens in their hearts.
Monica and Leigh, love and blessings from Tucson

Wonderful sentiments from the Tucson gang including Brooklyn! The many happy & funny memories are carrying me through & knowing that dad is home safe brings me comfort. Told him to put in a good word to God about his Mets. God bless our family. Love, Barbara

Part of the foundation of OLHC has past. I remember Sunday mornings in the church hall having coffee and donuts and community with other parishioners. He was Millies quieter partner in Parish council, blood drives on Good Friday’s and anything else they would be giving their time to. Peace to Millie and the whole Ricciardi family

Yes, Kevin but Charlie did have a very humorous side especially when he told his famous stories...he was precise down to the tiniest detail. And even though he’d repeat them over & over, he always remembered those details-the story never wavered. Thanks...Barbara

I was blessed to know the Ricciardi Family all my life. I grew up across the street from tbem on New York Avenue. I was ten years old when Millie came to ask my Mom if I could be her "Mother's helper" the summer of 1957. Barbara, was 5 years old. Liz and Claudia were so little, and Millie was due to have Robert in September. What began as reading to the girls and playing ey them for the summer lasted well beyond that summer. Charlie would come home from work, newspaper tucked under his arm, and it was time for me to go home. His little girls ran to greet him...Daddy was home. Daddy is home again...in heaven with the Father. Rest in peace, Charlie. You left an amazing legacy. Love, Loretta Ventura.

It is a privilege, not simply a pleasure, but a true privilege to have known know Charlie. The respect and admiration I hold for him as a husband, father, veteran, and a man is more than I can say in a few simple words. Witnessing the absolute love and devotion to him from his children says it all. His love and light will live on. Karen and Angela
