Obituary of George Benz

George Benz, age 76, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Mr. Benz was born July 2, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late George R. and the late Lenore (DeMarco) Benz. George was married to his beloved Concetta (Connie) for 52 years, she preceded him into heaven only 5 weeks ago. George served in the United States Air Force and was a proud veteran. He joined Pan American Airlines where he remained for over 25 years. George then went on to work to the NYC DEP until he retired 14 years ago. George was a keen outdoorsman and his hobbies included shooting, archery and fishing. He is survived by his 3 children, Christine and her husband Matthew, Denise and her husband David, and George, his Brother Paul, Grandchildren David, Matthew, Joseph and Jake. He was loved and will be missed by all.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Concetta and George's souls and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
