Uncle Charlie always had a smile and a laugh no matter what
When we were younger he threw the "BEST" 4TH OF JULY parties.
I have many memories of him but the most favorite is my Sister Laura and I threw him a surprise party in our bathroom with popcorn. He laughed and enjoyed it. We were young and thought it was an awesome gesture for his babysitting.
He was always easy to talk to.
God rest his beautiful soul.
My condolences to Charles jr and Christina.Your dad was one of a kind.
To the grandchildren he will watch over you from above.
God bless.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The Valvas were neighbors of ours going back many years.......68 to be exact. Our house rear faced their side lot. Charlie's brother, Davey, was my age. Charlie was my brother Gino's age and Joey was probably the age of my brother Joey. I remember Charlie working as a delivery boy for the Lupos. Images of him riding the bicycle on Midwood St. are still in my mind. Then, growing as we all do, and searching for permanent life work, Charlie was employed by Health & Hospitals, Kings County Hospital. He specifically worked for the Ambulance department.
My condolences go out to the Valva family on behalf of the Grasso family. May the perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in eternal peace in the glory of Our Father, Jesus Christ, Our Lord & Savior.

Ah grandpa what a battle you fought, but after such a long battle you need to rest. You were taken from us way way way too soon but God has a plan for you. You were there for my very first days and am honored to be there for your very last days. Rest easy my angel, until we meet again...
