Obituary of Helen D. Lee

The angels came to claim Helen D. Lee on October 6, 2020.

She leaves behind her son, 2 beautiful daughters and a lovely granddaughter. And if that was not enough, 2 cats.

This gorgeous petite woman was fiercely independent, completely private and very stubborn. Life was not always kind, but in times of strife she faced it with grace. She lived her life on her terms. Her way. Always.

She had a big heart, an amazing green thumb, and lots of love to give. She loved her family and had a soft spot for all cats.

She was creative and a homemaker. When her children were younger she knitted them scarves, mittens and booties. And loved to sew and cook. After raising her 3 children she worked her way up to executive secretary at Chemical bank. Having to retire after an aneurism went on to volunteer at NY Community hospital.

Being an animal lover not just to cats and strays she showed all fur babies love by becoming the all important treat lady.

Heaven is a better place for having her there, but here on earth she will be greatly missed.
