Aunt Rita always radiated joyfulness. She was one of a kind. I’ll miss you, fellow Gemini. Rest In Peace!

Rita was so funny, and so full of life. I can't think of her without smiling. When she and Mike came down to Jacksonville and visited with us I laughed harder than I had in years. She knew how to enjoy. And she instilled this ability to really feel joy in Mike and Anna. What a gift she was to everyone, even just the college roommate and friend of her son. Thinking of you guys.

It says share a memory of Aunt Rita but it feels impossible to describe her in one important memory. My life is full of memories beginning with her driving her blue car to visit us in the suburb of Fair Lawn. They would jump out of the car as we excitedly ran to greet them as we all hoped Pal would not knock us all over. Every time she received an invitation to one of our invites she was there with bells on (probably literally a few times ). One memory does not due your flamboyant personality justice. But I can say I had the honor and privilege not only to know you and be related to you but to be loved by you.

Aunt Rita! Upbeat, positive, easy going , kind, concerned for your well being, great sense of humor, costume wearer, thought she was in charge of the NYPD, basketball coach, church goer, pretty, engaging, welcoming, extremely giving, crazy, smart, bad eyesight, tried to take the Easter Bunny's job, loving, and my favorite... my Aunt
