Obituary of Josephine Astuto
Josephine "Joanne" Astuto was born March 19, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Vincent and Josephine Caiazzo. She moved to Brevard County, Florida in May 2004.
Joanne enjoyed painting, opera, and as a devoted Catholic was a member of the Carmelites. She served as a Bereavement Counselor and a Eucharistic minister at Ascension Catholic Church. Joann was a caring and giving woman who enjoyed volunteering at Vitas, reading to and comforting the sick.
Joanne is survived by her beloved husband, James Astuto and loving daughter, Ann Jordan.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Marine Park Funeral Home. Inc, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234.
Committal services will follow on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Joanne's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
