Rest In Peace my friend. Estelle and I were friends maybe 10 plus years..not sure. We swapped recipes. I will forever cherish her mom’s Irish soda recipe that she wrote up for me..it’s long..sleep with the angels. I’m so glad I got to see you a couple of weeks ago. Will miss you very much. God’s speed. Love you.

I come to this page every day to leave a message for you, Estelle. I have a hard time putting into words how much you mean to me and just how heartbroken I am by your loss.
I have nothing but great memories when I think about you. You were my babysitter, my Confirmation sponsor, my mentor...but most of all, you were my very good friend.
I will miss our dinners together and the talks that we had.
I hope that you are celebrating with Aunt Flo, Uncle Bill and Billy. Please give them a hug from me and also a hug to Patricia and Jimmy.
I miss you terribly and hope that you are at peace.
I love you, Stellie. See you on the other side. <3

Estelle followed Flo and Elaine’s lifelong commitment of service, hospitality and support to the families on E28th and E29th Streets in Brooklyn, the Good Shepherd parish and the Marine Park neighborhood. Her commitment to community extended to all of the gerenations, the religious priests and sisters, and to women and children in need. Estelle is a core member of the E29th Street family. She was unique with ubundant enthiasm, hands-on talent and skills. She will be missed dearly and will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
