Obituary of Thomas C. McKinney,

Thomas C. McKinney, Jr., (aka "Junior") age 87, of Brooklyn entered into eternal life Monday, December 7, 2020 at Downstate Hospital of Brooklyn, NY.  Mr. McKinney was born December 27, 1932 in Derry, Ireland.  He is the son of the late Thomas Charles and the late Mary Ellen (Crossan) McKinney. He married Molly O'Grady.  Mr. McKinney is survived by his loving wife, Molly, his daughter, Nora and sons Thomas F. and Kieran as well as his two brothers, Fr. Anthony McKinney, O'Carm and Bro. Gabriel McKinney, S.J. He cherished his grandchildren, Thomas Louis, Louis, and Kelly Ann.

Mr. McKinney was employed as a custodial engineer for the New York City Department of Education.

A wake in his honor will be held on Tuesday, December 15th from 1:00-4:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in celebration of his life at St. Columba Church, 2245 Kimball Street on Wednesday, December 16th at 10:00 AM with his friend and pastor, the Reverend Father Lambert officiating.
