Obituary of Barbara Anselmo

Barbara L. Anselmo, age 77, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Mrs. Anselmo was born July 4, 1943 in Staten Island, New York. She is the daughter of the late Bartholomew and the late Martha (Lee) Cunningham. Devoted wife of 57 years to Peter J. Anselmo. Loving mother of Barbie and Peter Jr. and his wife, Leilani. Cherished grandmother of Brooke, Eric, Priscilla, Gabrielle, and great grandmother of Jason. Beloved sister of Susan Miller. Dear sister-in-law of Elvira Anselmo.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Barbara's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Tuesday, January 19 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Wednesday, January 20 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
