Thomas J. Hassett " Jake", age 61, of Brooklyn passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021.Thomas J. Hassett "Jake" was born May 1, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Thomas and the late Celia (Leis) Hassett. Beloved Husband of Elizabeth (Tigar) Hassett. Cherished father of Thomas Hassett, Gregory Hassett, Nicole Leahy (Daniel) and Marissa van Domselaar (Philip). Dear Brother of John Hassett (Patricia) and George Hassett (Bunny). Adored grandfather of Philip, Kile, Ariel, Nikolas, Savannah, Siena and Sofia.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Thomas’ soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Wake service will be on Thursday April 1, 2021 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn.

Funeral will be held on Friday April 2, 2021.

Procession to form and depart the funeral home at 10:00 AM.

Burial to held at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue Middle Village, NY 11379.
