Obituary of Kathleen Buckley

Kathleen Buckley passed away on January 10, 2022, in Brooklyn, NY. The visitation will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM, with Father Fonti officiating. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Cemetery.

Kathleen was born in Brooklyn, NY to John and Beatrice Casey on March 18. 1946. She married James Buckley on September 10, 1966. Together they established Buckley's Restaurant in Marine Park, Brooklyn in 1972.

Kathleen enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and playing Scrabble with her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her three children; Christine (John), Jimmy (Margaret), and Kathy Ann (Marty), and her 16 grandchildren - Caroline, James, Bridget, John, Kyle, Connor, Kevin, Brendan, Terence, Olivia, Michael, Megan, Mairead, Marty, Kathleen, and Peter. As well as her sister Mary Carlton, and two brothers Gerard and Frankie Casey.
