Obituary of Marie Cecelia Mohrman

Marie Cecelia Mohrman, age 93, of Brooklyn passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Mrs. Mohrman was born July 11, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY.

Mrs. Mohrman was the daughter of the late John Fanizzi and Alyce (nee Scala) Fanizzi.

She was the devoted wife of Willard Mohrman.

Mrs. Mohrman, often referred to as “Our Queen,” will be dearly missed by her children Diane Poveromo, Gloria Harkins, Judy Rosado and Bill Mohrman.

Mrs. Mohrman is survived by her grandchildren Joe and Diana Poveromo; Daniel, Michael and Eugene Rosado; Tamika, James, Shallek and Shaquan Harkins.

Forever cherished by her great grand children and great, great grandchildren.

Mrs. Mohrman was the sister of Jackie (Mike) Zaccheo, Carol (the late Joe) Farinacci and the late Kenneth Fanizzi.

Sister-in-law of Arthur (the late Martha) Mohrman.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. 

Burial  will be held on  at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwoood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY on Thursday, February 24 at 11:45 AM.
