Obituary of Eleanor T. Marzano

Eleanor T. Marzano, age 92, of Brooklyn, NY passed away Monday, May 30, 2022. Mrs. Marzano was born November 8, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Gertrude (nee Gibbons) Hesselberg.

Mrs. Marzano was married to the late Angelo J. Marzano.

She was loved by her dear children Lorraine Savastano (the late James Joseph Savastano, Jr.), Edward Marzano (Mary), Daniel Marzano (Janet) and Carol Ann Marzano.

She will be missed by her grandchildren Janine DaSilva (Jeremy), Karen Savastano, Christine Marzano, James J. Savastano III (Jenna), Eileen Ramos (Victor), Maureen Mascaretti (Joseph) and Laura Savastano.

Great grandmother to Sienna, Lily, Thomas, Gabriella, James IV and Timothy.

Predeceased by her sisters, the late Anna and the late Joan. 

Sister to Rosemarie, Catherine, Mary Jane and Robert.

Mrs. Marzano was cherished by many nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Eleanor's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday, June 2 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial  will be held 9:30 AM on Friday, June 3, 2022 St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, 1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
