Obituary of Anna Fiquet
Anna "Cookie" Fiquet ( Kureczka) passed peacefully in her sleep on June 15, 2022. She was born on April 14, 1935 the daughter of Mary and William Kureczka. Anna is predeceased by her husband Bernard and her brothers William and Walter.
Cookie worked for over 25 years for the Special Education Unit in the Department of Education, NYC. The last several years were spent in District 22 as the Office Manager.
She is survived by her son William (Maura), daughter Michele and her 3 granddaughters Victoria, Sarah, and Jacqueline.
Some of her hobbies included playing card games/word games, watching old movies, cruising and knitting/sewing.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Anna's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.
Reposing Monday, June 20 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
The funeral will be held 9:45 AM on Tuesday, June 21 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 261 19th Street, Brooklyn, NY with Fr. Ivan Tyhovych officiating.
Burial to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale.
