Obituary of Marguerite M. Manno

Marguerite M. Manno, age 77, of Rockaway Point, NY, entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2022.  Born August 31, 1944 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Charles E. and Teresa A. (nee O’Connell) Beissel. Beloved long-time partner to Dennis M. Strong. Loving mother to Terrianne and husband Ron Orr, Anthony and wife Melissa Manno, Joseph and wife Kim Manno, and Jeanine and husband Michael Wing. 

Dear sister to Teresa and Alfred Longhitano, Charles Beissel, Kathleen and Thomas Maurer, Albert Ranzie, Thomas and Patricia Beissel, Eileen and Antonio Olivero, James Beissel, and Joseph and Kathleen Beissel. Comforted that her late sister, Mary Ellen Ranzie, welcomed her to heaven.

Forever cherished by grandchildren Mackenzie, Anthony, Shane, Juliana, John Michael, Callahan, Cayden and Charlie.  

Adored by her 22 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

Special second-mom to John, Dennis, Michael and their families. 

Our hearts are broken to have lost you. In our minds, there is no better place to be than with “Grandma by the Beach”.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Marguerite's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.

Reposing Sunday, June 19 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, June 20 at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd, Breezy Point, New York, 11697.

Burial to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.

Gathering thereafter at the Catholic Club, 204-10 Rockaway Point Boulevard, Breezy Point, NY.
