Obituary of Gilbert Prosser

Rusty Prosser, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 21, 2022. He was 79 years old. Rusty was the son of the late Gilbert and Rita Prosser. Rusty was the beloved husband of Ann (nee Cassidy) Prosser. He was the loving father of Kerry, Gregg, Keith, and Jamie. Rusty was the father-in-law to Ronald, Tania, Denise, and Tara. Rusty was the cherished grandfather of Shannon, Samantha, Kassidy, Gregory, Megan, Kaylee, Melanie, Ryan, Riley, Morgan, Anthony, Allison, and Avery. He was the dear brother of Susan (Paul) and Kathy (Bob). Rusty was the loved uncle of Lisa, Vinny, Trisha, Peter, Diana, Kristina, and Robert. Rusty will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The visitation for Rusty will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 9:45 AM. The Committal Service will take place immediately following the Mass at Green-Wood Crematory.
