Concetta Piccininni

Obituary of Concetta Piccininni

The world has lost a beloved and wonderful mother and grandmother, Concetta Piccininni, 87 on September 27, 2022.  Affectionately called Nonni by her grandsons, fondly known as “Connie” to friends and business associates; she was also lovingly called “Cungy” by her late husband Peter and close family.  Mom had a long career as a Real Estate agent, inspiring 2 of her grandsons to pursue a similar path.  She continued her work until the time of her passing.

Her brief battle with thyroid cancer was brave, as she never shed a tear, however repeatedly told her loved ones how much she loved them.

At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her children Margaret, Jack, Camille, daughter-in-law Melanie, and 4 grandsons who she adored and was so proud of, Michael, Peter, John, Billy, and future granddaughter Leah.

Family and Friends are invited to say a final farewell and to celebrate our Mom’s life at Marine Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.  A funeral mass will be held at St Bernard’s on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 9:30 AM, followed by her entombment at St John’s Cemetery where she will be laid to rest and reunited with her beloved husband Peter.
