Obituary of Kathryn Byrnes

Kathryn Byrnes, age 103, of Breezy Point, NY, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Mrs. Byrnes was born October 9, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Mary (nee Lynch) Hopkins. 

Beloved wife of the late James Brynes.

Loving mother of James Brynes (Anne) and Marilyn Coady (Thomas.)

Devoted grandmother of Annemarie, James, Susan, Eileen, Regina, Daniel and Thomas.

Mrs. Brynes will be missed by her 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Monday, December 12 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Rockaway Point, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
