Theresa Cassano, age 99, of Brooklyn, NY passed away Friday, December 23, 2022. Mrs. Cassano was born September 8, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Dominick and the late Mariangela (nee Amenoldara) Avitto. 

Mrs. Cassano was predeceased by her beloved husband Angelo Cassano.

She is survived by her devoted children Joseph Cassano (Dolly,) Mariangela Cassano (Charles Mayo) and Dominick Cassano.

Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Anna, Diana and Angelo.

Great grandmother of Kylie, Gianna, Nikolas, Carson, Luciana and Kristi.

Sister of the late Mary Vulpis and the late Martha Lanzisera.

Forever In Our Hearts

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Mary Queen of Heaven RCC.

Burial to immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
