Obituary of Alex Salerno

Alex Salerno, age 87, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Alex was born November 20, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Josephine (DeAngelis) Salerno. Loving husband of the late Carmel Salerno. Beloved father of Michael Salerno, Patricia Damiani (Steven) and Joanne Sasto (Joseph). Cherished grandfather of Bryanna, Frank, Brittany, Steven, Michaela and Christopher. Dear brother of MaryAnn Catania and the late Fr. Joseph Salerno.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Alex’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Friday, January 6 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 AM on Saturday, January 7 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
